What are your fees?

At Lakeshore Eye Care we have one global fee for LASIK vision correction so you can be assured that no hidden costs will be revealed once the process gets going.  And your first screening exam is complimentary because we don’t want you to feel pressured into committing to the procedure until you are ready.

When you compare the cost of LASIK to that of using contact lenses over a lifetime, LASIK is a bargain.  If you are 30 years-old and wear disposable contact lenses, you can expect to spend over $20,000 on contacts and solutions.

Our global fee includes the extensive pre-operative evaluation, the procedure itself, the eye drops, the unlikely occurrence any an enhancement procedure in the first year and one year of post-operative follow-up.   Every patient pays the same fee, regardless of their prescription or even if punctal plugs are needed to control dry eye problems.  Some discount laser centers offer different levels of service at varying prices but we only offer one type of LASIK: The best technology available and the careful care of Dr. Martha Jay at each and every appointment.

VISXBut the price should not be your main concern when considering LASIK vision correction.  You want to be sure to take advantage of the added precision and safety of blade-free iLASIK.  You want to have confidence in your doctor and her staff.

Once you add all the extra fees and hidden costs at other centers, take into consideration the peace of mind that comes from working with a local doctor you can trust, and realize that not all LASIK procedures are the same you will find that our fees are very competitive.

Having LASIK is a big decision, one that you will study and analyze before committing to.  So do it right, this is not the time to look for the cheapest alternative.  Remember that we offer up to 12 months of interest free financing for less than $100 per month.  We also accept Flex spending plans and major credit cards.
